9 - Architecture Views, Viewpoints, and Stakeholders

Description

• A system from the viewpoint of a set of related Concerns
• representations of the overall architecture in terms meaningful to stakeholders

Creation Process

1. Refer to an existing library of architecture viewpoints
2. Select appropriate architecture viewpoints
3. Generate views of the system by using the selected architecture viewpoints as templates
   Also can create an ad-hoc architecture view, and then decide to document an Architecture Viewpoint for it for re-use.

Every architecture view has a viewpoint, at least implicitly, and defining the viewpoint systematically helps validate the effectiveness of the view
