2.1 Explain the impact of emergence

Emergence can create outcomes that are either desirable or undesirable. It is the unintended outcomes that arise from added complexity.

2.2 Briefly describe Intentional Architecture

Intentional architecture is setting up your architecture with an up-front design, instead of doing it continuously. It provides some value, but should be kept compact and used with continuous architecture.

A purposeful set of statements, models, and decisions that represent some future architectural state

2.3 Briefly describe the concepts Concurrent, Continuous, and Refactored

Concurrent - Explore multiple solutions at a time with rapid testing/prototyping, eliminating weak solutions and converging on a proven solution

Continuous - Incremental changes to the architecture.

Refactored - Restructuring that occurs when the architecture evolves.

2.4 Briefly describe how “Agile” Tailored Architecture Development is done

Combine the building blocks of the O-AA standard to solve unique enterprise problems. You can formulate tailored architectural approaches to specific problems.
